Fixed Installation Projectors – A New Series

InFocus Corporation, the worldwide leader in digital projection, today introduced a new series of value-priced, fixed-installation projectors . Featuring a multitude of video, data and audio connection options, extremely bright output, XGA resolution and digital connectivity, the LP925 and LP930 were built to serve in a variety of presentation environments, such as auditoriums, meeting halls, large conference rooms and the rental and staging marketplace. With the addition of the LP900 series to the recently announced trio of Proxima -branded systems projectors , InFocus Corporation now offers the industry's most comprehensive line-up of fixed-installation projectors , with options to suit a variety of presentation needs at all price points.

"The InFocus family of systems projectors are designed to address the presentation and technology requirements of the rental and staging marketplace, as well as system integrators, AV consultants, facilities managers and other end users," said Jeff Jaramillo, director of product marketing for systems products, InFocus Corporation. "Beyond their excellent value, the LP900 fixed-installation projectors provide users with a projector platform that they can build on over the next couple years."

The LP925 and LP930 offer all the standard features and functions of today's fixed-install systems projectors - maximum connectivity, brightness, image quality and more. The platform features true XGA resolution, LCD technology, superior video quality, HDTV compatibility and digital connectivity. With four computer inputs, three video inputs and four assignable audio inputs, the LP900 series offers maximum connectivity, allowing users to seamlessly switch among a number of digital and analog sources - from VCRs and DVDs to PCs and digital cameras - to create impressive multimedia presentations.

With LCD display and microlens array, the LP930 offers a bright output of 3200 lumens and incorporates lens shift, enabling ultimate flexibility and perfect image adjustment for a variety of presentation environments. The LP925 offers 2400 lumens and a value price, without MLA and lens shift. With cool gray cases that blend with most ceiling tiles and quiet operation, the audience is guaranteed a distraction-free projection experience with the LP900 platform.

The LP900 series builds on InFocus Corporation's recent introduction of a trio of Proxima systems projectors, the DP9260+, DP9280, and the Pro AV 9350. These Proxima -branded projectors offer exciting new imaging technologies that provide remarkable brightness and 700:1 high contrast ratio for a clean, crisp, exceptional image. The Proxima line of systems projectors also include Proxima 's V-Scan digital video technology for the sharpest video image available from an LCD projector , and offer ease of installation with the ProjectionLink connectivity option, as well as lens options for added flexibility in projector placement.

Ranging in brightness from 2400 lumens up to a super bright 5000 lumens, and priced from $9,999 to $27,999, InFocus Corporation's line of five fixed-installation projectors offers solutions that fit every high-end presentation and budget need.

"This line up of projectors lead the industry with the highest quality in connectivity, contrast ratio, video resolution and polysilicon technologies, reflecting InFocus Corporation's longstanding commitment to research and development," added Jaramillo.

"Added to our complete line of ultraportable and conference room products, the InFocus family of fixed-installation systems completes the widest selection of digital projectors available."
