High Brightness Projectors – Crisp Picture Quality
Panasonic
Canada today announced the arrival of two LCD projectors designed for smaller
venues such as classrooms, boardrooms and even for home screening use. Both
projectors deliver crisp picture quality in 1024 x 768 Native XGA Resolution and
are HDTV compatible.
The new high-brightness projectors, the PT-LC80U and the
PT-L735U offer improved portability, ultra-quiet operation, and one-touch
"Auto Everything" set-up. Both models also include short throw lens
which shorten the necessary projection distance so that the projectors can fit
any room.
"A great looking presentation is important to every
business and these two projectors can deliver the sharpest picture quality to
impress any audience," says Jim Brown, title, Panasonic Canada. "The
projectors light weight, incredible brightness of projection and easy
compatibility with personal computers make them a perfect tool for anyone making
presentations on the road."
The ultra-light PT-LC80U weighs just 2.2 kg. It projects a
brightness of 2,000 ANSI Lumens to provide a sharp, crisp picture. The projector
also provides a 400:1 contrast ratio and a 3x digital zoom and focus. The
PT-LC80U has two lamp mode options, standard and lower lamp. The projector was
designed to be used in lower lamp mode to save on energy consumption and
lengthens the lamp life to 3,000 hours.
The PT-L735U weighs 4.2 kg and projects a brightness of 2,600
ANSI Lumens offering a vibrant picture from a 200W UHM™ Lamp. The projector
features an automatic input signal detector for quick additions to
presentations, dual 5-watt speakers and a 2,000 hour lamp life.
Both projectors feature a 16:9 projection capability with a
native ratio of 4:3 and 90% brightness uniformity. Both models have lenses
equipped with powered zoom/focus adjustment. The PT-LC80U and the PT-L735U each
can automatically synchronize to display 1080i, 720p, 480p and 480i video. The
projectors support most worldwide video standards, including NTSC, PAL and SECAM.
Both projectors are sRGB compatible and feature selectable colour temperature,
auto power off feature and blackboard mode which allows the user to project
directly onto a blackboard. The projectors both sport a rugged magnesium alloy
casing and a sophisticated, unique design.
The PT-LC80U suggested retail price is $5620 and the PT-735U suggested retail
price is $7150. Both are now available and for more information, please contact
