NEC Offers Industry's Brightest $995 Projector To Date

NEC Solutions, Inc. has set a new standard in price/performance for desktop/ultraportable projectors with the announcement of a $200US end user rebate on the popular VT460 projector, reducing its estimated end user cost to $995US. The VT460 was ranked the best-selling projector in the May 2003 Reseller Tracking Service, according to Pacific Media Associates, a high-tech research firm located in Menlo Park, CA.

The $200 end user rebate makes the VT460 the industry’s first projector to attain up to 1500 lumens of brightness at under $1,000, giving projector users an unprecedented value. It is also the first projector in its class with automatic keystone correction for quick, easy setup and operation. Its affordability, brightness and ease of use make the VT460 the perfect choice for classroom, meeting room and general purpose users.

“NEC is committed to making high-quality projection technology affordable to a wider range of users,” said Ron Gillies, senior vice president for Visual Systems at NEC Solutions. “The end user rebate on the VT460 represents an important step toward achieving this goal.”
