LCD Projector Displays – Rich Color And Full-Size Images
3M Visual
Systems Division, the leading supplier in group communications
and productivity solutions, today announced another powerful
addition to its family of lightweight personal projectors.
Equipped with a wide-angle lens and sliding lens cover, the
new 5.5-pound 3Mô Personal Projector MP7640 features the
ultra-responsive active matrix Liquid Crystal Display
technology, delivering rich color and full-size images in any
size meeting room.
Combining SVGA resolution and 800 peak ANSI lumens of
on-screen brightness, the compact 3M MP7640 is the foundation
for superior business presentations. Intelligent image scaling
optimizes image quality for XGA and VGA resolution and video,
while electronic keystone correction keeps the projected image
square, eliminating the need for additional leveling devices.
With FCC Class B certification, this portable projector
delivers bright, clear images in both the boardroom and the
living room. The versatile 3M MP7640 can easily transform from
a powerful business tool into a large screen TV by running a
standard RCAô or S-Video cable from your VCR or television
to the projector.
"The 7640 is the perfect projector for our customers
who prefer LCD technology, but still need a lightweight
unit," said John Griffiths, business unit manager for 3M
Electronic Projection Systems. "The MP7640 displays rich
graphics and the wide angle lens allows customers to adjust
the image in any room setting."
