BenQ America
Corp., a leading manufacturer of digital lifestyle devices, today debuted the
industry's brightest digital projector in the three-pound weight category, the
BenQ PB2220. In addition, BenQ is offering the new BenQ PB2120 digital projector,
an SVGA version of the PB2220. These projectors offer a variety of key features
and functions, in a lightweight and small package that make them ideal, personal
presentation solutions for those in the small office/home office market.
The BenQ PB2220
With a high 2000:1 contrast ratio at 1,700 ANSI lumens and 85 percent uniformity,
the BenQ PB2220 Digital Projector is the brightest digital projector in its weight
category. It offers the superior performance and unparalleled quality expected
from the BenQ line of digital projectors. The BenQ PB2220 can support 4:3 and
16:9 aspect ratios with a native resolution of 1024 x 768. It has the flexibility
of delivering resolutions from 640 x 350 to 1280 x 1024 and has the ability to
throw images of 60-inches at 6.6 feet.
"With the BenQ PB2220, we are setting a new standard for micro-portable digital
projectors," said Stephanie Wang, product manager of Digital Media at BenQ.
"At 3.8 pounds and a little over two-inches in height, the PB2220 is smaller
than a standard sheet of paper in terms width and depth. It's an ideal tool to
take on the road and can adapt to any type of presentation setting."
The BenQ PB2120
The BenQ PB2120 has a vivid 2000:1 contrast ratio at 1,200 ANSI lumens. As an

These two projectors deliver vibrant images and a broad range of capabilities.
The BenQ PB2220 offers true XGA resolution, while the BenQ PB2120 provides SVGA

the latest DLP™ chip set, the PB2220 and PB2120 are HDTV-compatible with
direct YPbPr/component, S-Video and composite video inputs. The DLP chipsets ensure
high quality, digitally based images that won't fade or degrade over time.
Both the BenQ PB2220 and PB2120 integrate BenQ's proprietary Dynamic Color Management
System technology and support 16.7 million color palettes and four-segment
