Home Theater – BenQ Adds New High-Capacity Digital Projector To Product Line
BenQ, a leading manufacturer of digital lifestyle devices, today introduced a new digital projector from its PB8000 product line, the BenQ PB8230. The BenQ PB8000 series of digital projectors offer the versatility to move seamlessly between home theater and professional presentation applications.
With its combination of clarity, brightness and uniformity, the BenQ PB8230 delivers vivid images and a broad range of features. The BenQ PB8230 digital projector utilizes proprietary BenQ video-processing technology to support the latest DLP™
DDR chip set so that images won't fade or degrade over time. The PB8230 is HDTV-compatible with direct YPbPr/component, S-Video and composite video inputs.

The BenQ PB8230
With a 2000:1 contrast ratio at 2,500 ANSI lumens, the BenQ PB8230 Digital Projector
provides true XGA resolution. It can support 4:3 and 16:9 aspect ratios with a
native resolution of 1024 x 768 and up to 1280 x 1024. At only 6.9 pounds, the
PB8230 is also compatible with NTSC, PAL, SECAM, NTSC 4.43 systems. The BenQ PB8230
comes with a 16.7 million-color palette, four-segment color wheel and BenQ's proprietary
Dynamic Color Management System (DCMS) to guarantee accurate color reproduction.
The BenQ PB8230 also features PIP/POP functions, P-Scan and a Digital Keystone
correction system for quick and easy set-up.
All BenQ digital projectors come with the company's product commitment-a free
first year "Xpress Xchange" program and a three-year limited warranty.
