Lightware, Dukane team up to offer ultraportable projectors
Lightware, the leader in portable, affordable
projection technology, is transitioning support of the audio visual
reseller channel to private-label partner Dukane in a move to better
serve dealers, as well as consumers.
"Lightware
strives to let end users buy where they want to buy, and AV dealers
are a key component to this strategy," Jim Searles, senior vice
president of sales and marketing, Lightware, said. "Dukane has years
of experience providing products, services and support to hundreds
of dealers. Making Dukane the interface for the Lightware brand
and product line to our select group of AV dealers makes sense."
Lightware
provides Dukane with the 5.3 pound Scout projector under the Dukane
label Mite-E-Lite, as well as Lightware-branded projectors, for
distribution through AV dealers.
"We
are delighted with this opportunity to extend our partnership with
Lightware and better serve both the AV dealer channel and end user
customers," Jean Stone, president, Audio Visual Products Division,
Dukane, said. "It's a win-win situation. The AV dealers get more
product from a single source with considerable experience at dealer
sales. End user customers have a wider variety of products from
which to choose at their local AV dealership. And both Dukane and
Lightware get to concentrate their efforts on what they do best."
