Large Screen Presentations – Next Generation Technology
PLUS Vision Corporation of America,
the first manufacturer to introduce a two-pound projector, announced today
the newest addition to its two-pound line of DLP projectors. The V-1100Z
has a 1:1.2 zoom lens and enables flexible mobile presentations.
The new XGA (1024x768) resolution PLUS V-1100Z projector offers 1000 ANSI
lumens of brightness and a contrast ratio of 2000:1, the highest contrast
ratio in the industry for a projector this size. The PLUS V-1100Z also introduces
new noise reduction techniques to reduce audible noise.
Approximately the size of a daily planner, the PLUS V-1100Z utilizes Texas
Instruments' next generation Digital Light Processing™ technology coupled
with PLUS' proprietary technology to produce high-contrast images with crisp
image clarity for any presentation setting.
"More than a year and a half ago, PLUS introduced the world's first two-pound
projector. The new V-1100Z is our fourth addition to this very important
mobile projector category," said S. Mark Hand, vice president, sales and
marketing. "We believe it is our critical mission to continually provide
advancements to the miniaturization of projection technology."
Designed to enable presentations anytime, anywhere, the PLUS V-1100Z includes
four-way digital keystone correction (both vertical and horizontal), and
a short-focus lens. Users can easily project large-screen presentations,
even in small spaces.
The V-1100Z includes a Digital Video Interface (DVI), which allows for digital-to-digital
image reproduction for vivid video and data image quality. Additionally,
the V-1100Z also supports the latest video standards including 480p, 780p
and 1080i High Definition imaging. Picture-in-picture (PIP) functionality
and digital zoom round out the many multimedia features.
The V-1100Z ships with all necessary data, video and audio cables, a full-function
remote control and soft carrying case, fulfilling every requirement for
effective presentations.
